I found this to be a great story that left me wanting more. While at first it comes across as three separate short stories, Tales of the Fallen is an introduction to what I am looking forward to as a great epic tale. David G. Barnett does an excellent job in giving an introduction to these main characters and has already begun their development.
While I can see how some people may be offended by the content, perhaps he should have included a warning in the product description. One look at the cover and I think that you can safely assume that it is not for children.
Tales of the Fallen is not a book for everyone. It is a story of heaven and hell and the thin line that separates the two. It is the type of book that I really enjoy reading, one that makes you question all that we have been taught and makes you think about other possibilities. I am eagerly awaiting the release of Book II.
