The Unraveling
  By Vi Keeland

I was more than a little intrigued to read a thriller by Vi Keeland. Having read her romance novels before, I was curious to see where she was going to take this story. I am not going to get into great detail in this review because I certainly don’t want to spoil it for any readers. You definitely want to experience this novel for yourself.

Meredith had experienced a great loss, and she was still reeling and trying to pick up the pieces of her life. While her life feels as though it’s in limbo, she sees the man whose life had also been affected by the same event. He was smiling. She couldn’t fathom how he could look happy again. Even with the passage of time, she still felt untethered, but this man looked like he was healing and moving forward with his life. Meredith needed to see what his life had become, how he was going on, and it became her daily mission to see him and get a glimpse into his life.

When Gabriel Wright walks into her psychiatry office for an appointment one day, Meredith is shocked to see the man that she has been obsessing over right in front of her. She knows that treating him as a patient is every kind of wrong and unethical, but she is intrigued by this man, and wants to know more about him, even if she is nervous that he will make the connection with who she really is.

What a tangled web! That is what I want in a book of this genre. I didn’t trust anyone. My curiosity and suspicions were on high alert, and I couldn't wait to see how the author was going to twist this story. Yes, this author certainly knows how to write an intense thriller. The Unraveling was quite the ride.
