This was the first book that I have read by this author. Let me first start out by saying that I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I opened up this book for the first time. I knew that a lot of the book takes place in an erotic club known as The Devilhouse, so I figured that it was going to be all sex and no story, but I am so happy that I was wrong! I certainly don’t mind a few steamy scenes in a book, but I read a book primarily for the story - it has to have a good story. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. This book did have a very good storyline.

It kept my interest throughout and really didn’t get overly sexual until close to the end. Since this was my first experience with this series, I didn’t have a very good knowledge of the characters. I think that the author did a great job in developing interesting characters. The book was well written and it left me wanting to see where the story was going to go.
