 It's the end of the world as we know it...

The Zyne Project brought me back to my youth, it has all the feel, gore and tension of a great 1980’s horror / slasher flick.

Sara Brooke has concocted a despicable cast characters that I loved to hate, six successful people so superficial that they turn themselves into human guinea pigs for a shot at changing their hair color. What could go wrong?

Well, I’ll tell you... it went wrong.  Imagine a fast paced, exciting horror story with blood thirsty monsters lurking around every corner.  It even has the 1980’s requisite sexy time. I was pulled into the story and Sara Brooke really pumped up the fear factor with her monsters.

At first I was wondering where the story would go.  The original premise seemed a little too shallow and lackluster, but Sara Brooke has a far more sinister story brewing.  She hit me with a fabulous concept and with much more depth than it originally appeared to have.

If you are a fan of the slasher genre (and who isn’t) and you are looking for a fast paced read, The Zyne Project could be just your thing.
