A Dance with Dragons

What the h-e- double hockey sticks, George? What are you trying to do to me? Is nothing or no one sacred? I waited and waited for ADance with Dragons to come out…and I was not disappointed.

A Dance with Dragons is the most recent release in the Game of Thrones series. It continues with the ongoing battle over who will be king or queen of Westeros. Perhaps I should not have been surprised with all of the twists and turns, this is what Martin does to keep the reader’s interest. I still cannot get over how he kills off main characters as though they were guys in red shirts from Star Trek. These are important characters, I have invested my time, I don’t want to see them die (well, maybe some of them).

George R.R. Martin is a master of writing a thousand-page book…resolving nothing…and leaving you wanting more. When is the next book? How soon can I get it? Who will win the Game of Thrones?
